In the heart of Uster, Bachofen AG set an example for sustain­ability and tech­no­logical progress. The reno­vated building shone, but the old lighting no longer matched – manual, energy-hungry, inef­fi­cient. For Bachofen, it was clear: those who live inno­vation think light further – intel­ligent, networked, economical, and future-proof. The goal: a solution with substance that makes rooms bright, work comfortable, and the envi­ron­mental foot­print better.

The nevalux solution: Tailor-made and sustainable

Networked light for all areas.

Solution

Continuous row lumi­naires, pendant and floor lights: Every­thing was in demand in Bachofen’s reno­vated office and logistics areas. nevalux LED inserts and Zwena lumi­naires were used in the offices. For logistics, the Azali connect was chosen, which fit directly onto the existing Tecton rails thanks to special adapters – an effi­cient Plug & Play solution. The logistics and office lumi­naires are intel­ligent Connect systems; they are networked wire­lessly via Blue­tooth. While ’swarm intel­li­gence’ (accom­pa­nying light) ensures effi­ciency in the ware­houses, external PIR sensors (Steinel IR Micro Office) ensure precise detection in the offices, even in complex room geome­tries. The repre­sen­tative zones also leave nothing to be desired in terms of aesthetics: Elani pendant lumi­naires and Niara floor lights – partly in special black paint with Tunable White – ensure a high-quality lighting atmos­phere in the exec­utive office and meeting rooms.

Light that thinks along everywhere.

Rigid lighting is a thing of the past. For a diverse project like Bachofen, light has to master a wide variety of tasks: Maximum effi­ciency in logistics, repre­sen­tative elegance in the offices, and low oper­ating costs every­where. To achieve this, more than just new lumi­naires are needed. The reuse of existing rails in the ware­house and the targeted use of external sensors in the office were important here. Those who tune tech­nology so indi­vid­ually receive a sustainable solution that perfectly combines func­tion­ality and design.
